Project Zip Code Available For Download | Monday, 05 December 2011

  Project Zip Code

Project Zip Code (PZC) a secure program that counts your credit union members and matches them by Congressional district and state legislative district for both the current and future districts your members will be voting for in 2012 is now available.

Your numbers are uploaded to CUNA’s Project Zip Code website and combined with data from credit unions nationwide.  This data aids in federal and state advocacy efforts.  With over 78 million members matched, we can accurately show the strength of the credit unions across the country.

In addition to grassroots advocacy, PZC helps credit unions better serve their members.  By using the Queries and Reports functions of PZC, you can see where your membership lives by state, county and zip code. These functions allow credit unions to better track where their membership reside and is very useful in planning ATM expansion and shared branching.

Please take a few minutes to run PZC at your credit union.  You can download the program to your desktop by visiting and clicking on the “Download Project Zip code 12.0”. On this site, you will also find a detailed User Manual to guide you through the installation.
